| What is there to do?
Wineries: Just across the road is Blueberry Hill, makers of an excellent range of boutique style wines. Within easy reach of Windsor's Edge and also on McDonalds Road is Bimbadgen Estate, one of the larger and fastest growing wineries in the Pokolbin area, and also home to Esca Bimbadgen, an elegant restaurant with stunning view out over the vines. Around the corner into Deasys Road is Gabriels Paddocks, a vineyard planted in the 1980s and producers of a fine range of limited release wines. Beyond this are a further 70-odd wineries, cellar door tasting rooms and vineyards, mostly open 7 days a week and ranging from world famous names such as Lindemans, Tyrrell's & Wyndham Estate to hands-on boutique operations like Rothvale, Marsh Estate and of course, Windsor's Edge! Restaurants: There are just about as many restaurants and cafes as there are wineries! Our own Amanda's on the Edge open 7 nights and 4 lunches a week, features fine Australian cuisine in a vineyard setting with spectacular views from every table. Il Cacciatore, our local Italian; Cafe Caffe for hearty pasta and salads, Seasons, winners of many awards for fine food; and Mojo's, another family operated restaurant 5 minutes away offering excellent contemporary Australian cuisine. Shakey Tables on Branxton Road is another innovative modern Australian restaurant within a short drive.
