Windsor's Edge is a small family operated resort at the northern end of McDonalds Road in Pokolbin in the centre of the Hunter Valley vineyards.

Windsor's Edge vineyard was planted in 1995 by Tim & Jessie Windsor.

Initially 5 acres of Shiraz followed by 5 acres of Semillon and a further 5 acres of Chardonnay in 1997. Since then more plantings of Shiraz and the rarer varieties of Tinta Cao and Tempranillo have been planted.

The first grapes were produced in 1999 and our first wine was made in our own, underground boutique winery in that year. Since the first, faltering steps we have produced 6 successful vintages, with the wine now available for tastings and sales at our newly opened Cellar Door tasting room.

Opening hours are 10am-5pm Saturday & Sunday, weekday, private or sunset tastings are available by arrangement on 0414 997 978.

Tim's newest venture.... "Top Red Warbirds"

As if he doesn't have enough to do! Tim has recently purchased this very interesting plane. It is an ex Russian military trainer, Yak 52.

He will now be doing aerobatic adventure flights out of Cessnock Aerodrome. Try it if you dare! See Windsor's Edge vineyard from angles you never imagined!
